Nausheen, AIR-9, UPSC CSE-2023

Nausheen, a resident of Fatehpur, Gorakhpur, triumphed in her fourth attempt at the UPSC civil services examination, securing an impressive All India Rank 9 after successfully conquering the prelims, mains, and personality test. Her journey is marked by resilience and dedication, stemming from her upbringing in Kushinagar (Padrauna), UP.

Beginning her academic journey at Ratna Memorial Public School in Gorakhpur, Nausheen furthered her education at RAMPUS School in Rapti Nagar, Gorakhpur, completing her intermediate studies in Science. Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in History at Khalsa College, University of Delhi, supported by her father's unwavering encouragement.

Her commitment bore fruit as she graduated with honors, earning a gold medal from SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi. Her academic excellence not only reflected her passion for learning but also laid a solid foundation for her civil services aspirations.

Nausheen's family, consisting of her engineer father, homemaker mother, elder brother employed at Union Bank of India, and sister working at LIC, provided her with invaluable support throughout her journey.

She opted for History as her optional subject in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 and scored 300+ marks in the History optional papers.
