Download PDFConsidering the high disease burden in India and lack of inclusive healthcare system, this becomes quite a difficult task for India to fulfill its commitment towards SDG 3 to 'Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages'. In order to bring more inclusivity in the healthcare system, it becomes essential to revive the traditional methods of healthcare. To this end, a dedicated Ministry of AYUSH has been formed which has started several initiatives to reinvigorate traditional ways of medicine.
