The growing concern of global warming, climate change, and its associated impacts on the economy, society, health, biodiversity, etc. has created the need for significant initiatives imperative for its protection and conservation. For environment protection, multiple environment agreements, summits, protocols, and conventions have been conducted and agreed upon. The dynamic nature of available information on this topic makes it important from the point of view of UPSC.
