In the Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC, around 15-20 questions (sometimes even more) related to current affairs are asked. On a day-to-day basis, several places remain in the News and are often asked about in the preliminary examination. Questions related to places in the news are asked from different perspectives including their historical, geographical, architectural, strategic, and other contexts.
The GS SCORE's 'Fact File - Places in News', covers almost all the places that were in news in the last year. Apart from the main information regarding the place, additional information is also provided to help aspirants to cover the topics comprehensively from the point of view of UPSC. The fact file will help aspirants to remember facts efficiently and to gain extra information.
