Every year UPSC asks around 10-15 questions from Geography. World geography always finds a place in the Prelims examination.  A variety of questions are asked from different sections of the Geography Syllabus especially the Water Systems and Sources of the World. Questions often come from the Major Oceans, Seas and Rivers Systems of the World and India.
