Siddharth Jain: Group study, smart notes making, focus on particular mark fetching, subjects, maintain proper mental health.

Siddharth Jain: Prelims: Given many tests of different test series, analyze the area from where upsc is asking questions, cover basics properly.
Mains: Answer writing practice through many tests, follow minimum material.

Siddharth Jain: I followed integrated approach for both prelims and mains preparation.

Siddharth Jain: Make good notes and if possible make soft copy notes.

Siddharth Jain: Test series is very important. I joined vision ias and synergy test series.
IAS Score: Civil Services Exam process is quite strenuous. It requires long hours of constant study. How did you maintain your tempo and what did you do to break the monotony of preparation?
Siddharth Jain: Mediation, group study, music and physical exercise.
IAS Score: The trend suggests that professionals or working people are more successful in this exam. Does this exam prove difficult for Humanities and Social Science background candidates?
Siddharth Jain: No, I don’t think so.

Siddharth Jain: Keep some backup. Focus on some specific paper for rank/marks fetching and get at least average marks in others.
