Almost around 50 percent of the population of India is still dependent on agriculture for its livelihood. Agriculture contributes less to the GDP of the nation despite the number of people involved in it. The reasons behind it are multifold from investment and implementation to negligence and awareness. Similarly drinking water is also a huge problem especially in the changing climate. Administration has taken small to large scale initiatives to tackle these issues.
