  • Published
    12th Mar, 2023
Almost around 50 percent of the population of India is still dependent on agriculture for its livelihood. Agriculture contributes less to the GDP of the nation despite the number of people involved in it. The reasons behind it are multifold from investment and implementation to negligence and awareness. Similarly drinking water is also a huge problem especially in the changing climate. Administration has taken small to large scale initiatives to tackle these issues.
The Good Practices on 'Agriculture and Water Resources' tries to compile such initiatives taken at district level to ease out and facilitate the local people. The document also contains some international practices also. This will help in creating a good insight on the ground level issues and their management. This document will help aspirants to understand and reproduce examples during 'Mains Answer Writing' in UPSC examination.
