Good Practices: Initiatives for Disaster Risk Reduction

The government has participated in international efforts and carried out several national actions that ensure that reducing the risk of disasters is a top priority both within the country and locally, with a solid institutional foundation for implementation. From the point of view of the UPSC test for the two preliminary and main exams, these initiatives and schemes have proved extremely significant.

During the preliminary and main examinations, UPSC may question "Good Practices" on "Activities for Risk Reduction of Disasters," a compilation of efforts crucial to the government's preparedness for disasters. Candidates will be able to understand the UPSC examination's point of view and respond to multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and the Mains exam with the aid of the guide.
