The Ukraine –Russia conflict is not the only but one of the many strands altering the contours of world governance.

Present geopolitical turmoil:

• Short-sighted illusion: The world of the 21st century is proving to be highly chaotic. Several western geopolitical experts suggested that the Ukraine-Russia conflict alone would not only determine war and peace but also other critical aspects. This tends to be a myopic view of the experts.
• Several developments: Several other strategic developments are taking place around and outside the European region which have equal significance if not more in the future world governance and power sharing.
